Blending influences of numerous genres of music, Gray Lines of Perfection creates music for the fans, for themselves, and for their faith. The underground scene has become clouded with repetitiveness where one band sounds like another. The scene is becoming stale and boring with so much influence on fashion and dancing that the music has all but been forgotten. Gray Lines formed in August of 2003 with many goals in mind. First and foremost is to create music to please themselves, second, to gear that music towards their faith and God, and third, to bring a breath of fresh air into the underground music industry. With the release of an EP in late 2003, they started to gain vague attention. They realized that they needed to push themselves even more musically. With numerous member changes, Gray Lines went into Stained Glass Studios in Paramus, New Jersey to record a four track demo. These songs gained Gray Lines much underground buzz in the local scene and surrounding areas. During all of this time, Gray Lines had been constantly playing show after show in all surrounding cities and states. Gaining fans and selling merchandise to keep them-selves going, Gray Lines headed back to Stained Glass Studios to record 3 new songs to show their fans how the band has been progressing. Since they debuted the songs on Purevolume and Myspace, they have received nothing but positive feedback as fans across the globe have applauded Gray Lines for their much appreciated hard work and dedication. Future plans for Gray Lines include an extensive month and a half tour across the U.S. during the summer, and they hope to return to the studio with the help of a record label to record a full length. The band will always be first and foremost about the music, and as the band matures even further throughout the coming years, it will remain an intricate part of the framework that is the Gray Lines of Perfection.
