Since 2001 Mabus have been working hard booking many DIY tours and numerous local shows. After some necessary line up changes and early demos Mabus released their first LP on Glacial Records entitled, "Cheer's, to Doomsday Gloom" in 2006. The album has since been met with much acclaim receiving rave reviews from fans, magazines and the like. Mabus play an orchestrated and energetic metal with tight tempo changes, heavy grooves, and exciting lyrics, which display sadistic and satirical portrayals of life whether good, bad or just plain ugly. Inspired by bands such as Converge, The Dillinger Escape Plan, 7 angels 7 plagues, Earth Crisis, Pantera, At The Drive In, and The Smashing Pumpkins; Mabus emerges with their own original style, ripe with complex grooves, jazz/blues beats and relentless live performances. Mabus will be hitting the road once again this summer to support their latest album in hopes of spreading their music as much as possible.
